Fountain Square Theatre, located in historic Fountain Square, is roughly a mile from downtown Indianapolis. It was originally built in 1928 as a theater and provided both vaudeville entertainment and motion pictures. This entertainment venue flourished until it shuttered in the late 1950s.
In 1993, a local Indianapolis resident purchased and restored the historic Fountain Square Theatre. One of the first entertainment attractions to open inside the historic building was Action Duckpin Bowl. The historic theater also contains Fountain View Inn, one of the many hotels in the area, as well as Imbibe Bar and Game Room and Rooftop Garden Cocktail Lounge.
The restored Fountain Square Theatre building received The Knot’s Best Wedding Venue 2021.

From HI-Fl Indy & HI-Fl Annex, head southeast on Virginia Avenue toward Prospect St. Turn left on Prospect St. Hoosier Dome will be on your right at 1627 Prospect St, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
From Hoosier Dome, head east on Prospect St. toward S State Ave for half a mile. Then turn left onto S. Keystone Avenue. Tienda Mexicana El Puerto & Taqueria will be on your right at 1035 S Keystone Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
From Tienda Mexicana El Puerto & Taqueria, head south on S Keystone Ave toward Prospect St. Turn left onto Prospect St. Turn left into the parking lot. Marion County Justice Center is at 675 Justice Way, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
From Marion County Justice Center, get on 1-465 N in Warren Township from Prospect St, Southeastern Ave, and Exit 94B. Follow 1-465 N to E 98th St in Carmel.
